Forms

Forms are the equipment-type armors that Zero can wear to alter his power attributes and give him new abilities. To earn these forms, you must complete a mission with a set requirement that is mentioned in the "How to Unlock?" column at the bottom of this page.

Base Attack Power

Notes: "1" in attack power is the smallest possible increment that the game will keep track of, or half the strength of a normal buster shot. Against a boss, the damage to their life meter is half of your attack power, and odd numbers are always rounded down. In saber combos, 1, 2, and 3 are the respective combo slashes for Zero's normal form. "R" is the Rise Form's final slash. All EX Skills ignore your Form's attack power.

Normal Form (ノーマルフォーム)

This does nothing special.

Energy Form (エナジーフォーム)

	Form Stats Power Defense Speed Saber Combo: 2,2,1	Base Power * Buster Shot +1 * Z-Saber +2 on 3rd combo slash	How to Unlock? Pick up 25 Life Capsules.
More likely to find life energy when defeating enemies. Only 2 buster shots on-screen at a time.

X Form (エックスフォーム)

	Form Stats Power Defense Speed Saber Combo: 2	Base Power * Buster Shot +2	How to Unlock? Kill 50 enemies with the Buster.
4 buster shots on-screen at a time.

Defense Form (ディフェンスフォーム)

	Form Stats Power Defense Speed Saber Combo: 1,2,3	Base Power * Z-Saber -2 on 3rd combo slash, -4 otherwise * Shield Boomerang +2	How to Unlock? Kill 20 enemies with the Shield Boomerang.
Enemy attacks do 1/2 normal damage.

Erase Form (イレイスフォーム)

	Form Stats Power Defense Speed Saber Combo: 2	Base Power -none-	How to Unlock? Bounce back 30 enemy shots with the Shield Boomerang.
Z-Saber and Shield Boomerang destroys enemy buster shots. Does not apply to charged attacks or EX Skills.

Active Form (アクティブフォーム)

	Form Stats Power Defense Speed Saber Combo: 1	Base Power -none-	How to Unlock? Kill 20 enemies with the Z-Saber while dashing.
Adds rolling saber slashes in combination with your normal jumping and dashing slashes. Hold down to cancel a jump-roll. Sengatotsu EX Skill cancels the dash-roll.

Power Form (パワーフォーム)

	Form Stats Power Defense Speed Saber Combo: 3	Base Power * Buster Shot +1 * Z-Saber +2 * Chain Rod +1 * Shield Boomerang +1	How to Unlock? Pull anything 30 times with the Chain Rod.
Your normal slash becomes a single powerful attack.

Rise Form (ライズフォーム)

	Form Stats Power Defense Speed Saber Combo: 1,2,R	Base Power * Z-Saber +4 on 3rd combo slash	How to Unlock? Kill 10 enemies with the Z-Saber.
3rd slash in a combo becomes an uppercut-like attack.

Proto Form (プロトフォーム)

	Form Stats Power Defense Speed Saber Combo: 1	Base Power * Buster Shot +2 * Z-Saber +2 * Chain Rod +2 * Shield Boomerang +2	How to Unlock? Beat the game.
No weapon can be charged except for Shield Boomerang. Enemy attacks do 2x normal damage.

Ultimate Form (アルティメットフォーム)

	Form Stats Power Defense Speed Saber Combo: 1,2,3	Base Power * Buster Shot +1 * Z-Saber +2 on 2nd and 3rd combo slashes * Chain Rod +1 * Shield Boomerang +1	How to Unlock? Use every Cyber Elf in the game.
Allows you to use fighting-like button commands to unleash charged attacks. Buster Shot Low: ↓ → + Attack Buster Shot Max: ↓ → ↓ → + Attack Z-Saber: → ↓ + Attack Chain Rod: → ↓ → + Attack Shield Boomerang: ↓ → + Attack
