Mini Games

	Zero's Mini Game Beat the game on Normal Mode. Mellnet enemies are flying towards Zero and your job is to get rid of every single one of them with the use of the Recoil Rod. Aim with the Control Pad and press B button to hit the Mellnets. Blue Mellnets only need one hit to destroy them, but Yellow ones require 2 hits or a charged Recoil Rod attack to push them away a distance, striking other Mellnets in the process. The game is over once Zero gets hit 3 times.
	Ciel's Mini Game Beat the game with S ranks on all missions. Jewels in 5 different colors are to be guided through beakers of the corresponding colors. The jewels will take all kinds of possible turns, so it's your job to open or close a few paths with the help of either the A or B button, so the jewels will be led to the right beaker. The game is over if you mislead jewels 3 times.
	Copy X's Mini Game Beat the game on Hard Mode. There will pop up 3 different elements falling from the roof and coming right at Copy X's direction, and it's your duty to destroy them with their weaknesses. Ice is weak to Fire, Fire is weak to Thunder and Thunder is weak to Ice. Change your buster element with the L and R buttons and shoot with the B button. The game is over when you fail to destroy 3 elements and they fall down the pit infront of Copy X.
	Harpuia's Mini Game Beat the game with S ranks on all missions (Z-Saber Only). On this minigame, Harpuia is riding on Aztec Falcon, and your controlling them both by jumping with A button and slashing with B button. Your job is to jump over obstacles and slash foes that are in your way. The game is over once you get hit 3 times, crash into walls or fall down a pit.
	Fefnir's Mini Game Beat the game with 100 point Average on all missions. Stop Carryarms from carrying away the items on the ground. Move Fefnir with the use of the Control Pad and press B button to fire Fefnir's Meteor Rain. You get bonus points when items are dropped. The game is over when an item has been carried away for good.
	Leviathan's Mini Game Beat the game with 100 point Average on all missions. Move Leviathan with the use of the Control Pad and use her spear with the B button. Earn points and extra time by hitting only Mechaniloids (the robot fishes, not the flesh-covered ones). Consecutive hits earns you bonus points. The game is over when time runs out.
	Phantom's Mini Game Beat the game with S ranks on all missions (Buster Only). Jump on one Shuriken to another. Jump with the A button and move with the Control Pad. There will also be obstacles that will be in your way, so avoid them at all cost. The game is over when Phantom has been hit 3 times or if he falls from a Shuriken.

EX Skills

These techniques requires you to beat a specific boss on a certain mission with either an A or S ranking. If you don't get either of those rankings on a mission, you don't get the EX skill.

	Reflect Laser リフレクトレーザー		Charge the Buster, then release the button to shoot a laser that bounces off walls for a while.
	V-Shot Vショット		With the Thunder Chip active, use the Buster to shoot bullets in 2 directions. Works with charged shots too.
	Burst Shot バーストショット		With the Fire Chip active, charge the Buster, then release the button to fire off a bullet that explodes after travelling a small distance.
	Blizzard Arrow ブリザードアロー		With the Ice Chip active, charge the Buster, then release the button to shoot 3 Ice Shards in different heights: Middle, Low & High.
	Reppuugeki レップウゲキ Gale Attack		Dash forward and press the Z-Saber button to perform a forward thrust. A great combo-hitting attack.
	Rakusaiga ラクサイガ Saber Smash		Press Down and the Z-Saber button while airborne to attack downwards (stab). Equip the Thunder Chip to release 3 electric balls on the ground.
	Tenretsuzan テンレツジン Split Heavens		Press Up and the Z-Saber button to perform a Rising Slash. With the Fire Chip active, the Z-Saber creates a flaming trail and give more height.
	Zaneidan ザンエイダン Throw Blade		Press Down and the Z-Saber button while on the ground to release a small saber wave. The wave stays stronger with the Ice Chip active.
	1000 Slash サイザンドスラッシュ		Use the Recoil Rod in a repeated session to perform a fast-paced combo. It only attacks forwards, but the speed is still amazing.
	Soul Launcher ソウルランチャー		Charge the Recoil Rod, then attack upwards. 4 Energyballs will be released from it. With the Fire Chip active, the balls stays stronger too.
	Crawl Shield クロールシールド Shield Sweep		Charge the Shield, then release the button to make it roll forwards on the ground. The Thunder Chip also makes the Shield leave a series of Thunderballs behind.
	Circular Shield サーキュラシールド Orbit Shield		This skill will make the Shield spin around you, protecting you from getting damaged. The Ice Chip also makes the flight time of the Shield a bit longer.
